These are to secure that you have sufficient storage and protection for your items. Moving boxes will be necessary to store and sort you items into categories. i.e. Your living room furniture will not be in the same box as your bedroom furniture. Boxes help with simplifying things and are also convenient for the moving process. It is easier to throw /pack boxes into a bakkie than it is to throw individual items.

Well, bubble wrap is for the breakable items such as your glass tables, TV sets, monitors or any other item that you feel will fragile and may break a long a distance (remember your items will be in a vehicle). Next on the list we have newspapers. Now people usually throw out newspapers once they are done reading them but we highly recommend keeping them close by for moving day. Newspapers are very useful for protecting your smaller breakable items such as glasses, cups, plates and bowls from the kitchen. We cannot overemphasize how important this step is. Putting glasses in a box without wrapping them in newspaper first, is a very very bad idea, as your items will be too close to one another and will break the moment they enter a moving vehicle.
