They call it old-fashioned; we call it antique.

According to a reliable source, the concept of furniture was developed as early as 3100-2500 B.C. It is therefore obvious that the style of several furniture items has changed drastically from the time they were first produced. For example, tables in the late 1910s were inspired by nature, therefore they were made from dark wood and polished and that was considered fashionable then. Today, glass tables that require an intensive shine session because of one small fingerprint have become the next big thing.. This has had a growing impact on moving companies and furniture removals as more attention has to be paid on the brand, type and make of the furniture that is being transported so as not to damage it.
They call it old-fashioned; we call it antique. With a trend-driven market, many furniture items have become obsolete but with the slow return of an antique-driven market, you might reconsider sticking to that wooden chest-of-drawers that was given to you. Antique styles are slowly infiltrating themselves to be the inspiration behind the interior and exterior decoration of many homes, art-galleries, stores and even some restaurants.
It is quite clear, that we are not ready to let go of some of history’s finest inventions. This is however not true for everyone.
